IHG Rewards: Zmiany w programie Gwarancji Najlepszej Ceny

Program Best Price/Rate Guarantee, dzięki któremu możemy spędzić darmową noc w hotelu z grupy IHG (przy spełnieniu wszystkich warunków) jeszcze bardziej zaostrza swoje zasady.

Najważniejsze zmiany w stosunku do poprzedniej wersji:

1. "A "valid room booking" means a complete booking with an approved credit card." - rezerwacja musi być dokonana ważną kartą kredytową (też debetową?), ten punkt raczej nic nowego nie wprowadza.
2. "You must contact us using the online claim form within twenty-four (24) hours after completing your valid room booking on any IHG website to make a claim under the Best Price Guarantee." - wnioski można składać już jedynie przez stronę www, a nie też przez telefon.
3. "The Guarantee is available only for the exact same room type and same view." - nawet widok z okna pokoju musi być taki sam.
4. "At hotels in Greater China, however, pre-paid rates on non-IHG sites will be compared with the IHG hotel's lowest available rate." - w Chinach kontynentalnych, Hong Kongu, Makau i na Tajwanie w hotelach na całym świecie, stawkę bez możliwości anulowania na innych stronach można porównywać do najniższej stawki na stronach IHG i nie musi ona być też bezzwrotna. (warunek został rozszerzony na cały świat, dn. 18 stycznia 2014 r.)
5. "Claims for hotels within fifty (50) miles of your home address are not eligible for the Guarantee." - nie można składać wniosków BPG dotyczących pobytów w hotelach w odległości mniejszej niż 50 mil od swojego miejsca zamieszkania! (warunek ten zniknął 1 listopada 2013 r.)
6. "If an individual or members of the same household make multiple claims for two or more nights in the same seven (7 14) day period at the same IHG hotel or at different IHG hotels within fifty (50) miles of each other, the claims will be treated as, and limited to, one claim for one stay, even if booked through more than one reservation, and only the Best Price Guarantee claim for the first night will be honored." - w danym hotelu (lub oddalonym o mniej niż 50 mil) przysługuje nam tylko jeden wniosek o darmową noc co 7 14 dni, a nie co drugi dzień, tak jak do tej pory było. (zmiana: X.2015)
7. "A “stay” (for purposes of the Guarantee) may be one night; consecutive nights at the same hotel location, regardless of frequency of check-in/check-out; or two or more nights, even if non-consecutive, in the same seven (7) day period at the same hotel location." - jak wyżej.
8. "IHG does not accept screen shots of imagery of lower prices provided by guests due to the ease of modification or alteration of such imagery." - IHG nie przyjmuje zrobionych przez siebie zrzutów ekranu z niższą ceną na innej stronie, sami musza znaleźć tę cenę (ale tak było i wcześniej).
9. "“Within fifty (50) miles” means within fifty (50) miles when seeking directions between locations on Google Maps." - odległość 50 mil liczona jest według trasy wyznaczonej przez mapy Google.

Podsumowując: my już niestety nie mamy szans na darmową noc w InterContinental Warszawa ;). Wcześniej nawet udało mi się znaleźć niższą cenę, która obejmowała dostęp do Club Lounge oraz "niepełne wyżywienie" (o ile to właśnie nie chodziło o kolację w Clubie), a na stronie IHG wyższa cena obejmowała tylko dostęp do Club Lounge, także wniosku nie uznali :).
